ONE YEAR OLD!!!!

I can't believe how fast this year has gone by.  Carmine has gotten "SO BIG" (and yes, now he does that fun move!).  Over the past few months, his army crawling has taken off, and he likes standing.  He still can't sit up on his own or pull to a stand, but we are getting more help from CT's Birth to 3 program.  They think in 6 months he will be able to be walking (running) all around the house.  We are hoping that is the case, and are working on strengthening his upper body in order to be able to accomplish that goal.  In the meantime, we had a great birthday party with family this past weekend!!  I'll post pictures of that in the next post.  However, I first wanted to put out here is one year photos!!!  Daddy made an appearance for this very important milestone.  The other important piece of these pics??  Carmine's first taste of chocolate!  Boy did he LOVE it!!!
My two buddies made it with me through the entire year!
If you look VERY closely, you can see that he now has 5 teeth and one more almost through!

The next set of pictures are fantastic in my opinion!  We did some family pics as well as some of Carmine with each of us separately.  Check out the faces on my boys below!!  Like father, like son!

Where'd the cake go??  Talk about a messy little boy!

Finally, having some fun with mom and dad!

Carmine's 10 Month Photo Shoot

Carmine is really beginning to notice the world around him and he wants to interact with it.  His high pitched happy screams are coming quite frequently, and the utter meltdowns are happening a little less.  He is getting closer to crawling, but the big thing is now his ability to stand for a few seconds holding onto something.  He's not pulling up to standing, but hey...a little at a time!

He LOVES his rings right now!  And plays with them every morning!  He throws them, reaches for them, chews on them.  Now, if only he would start putting them back on the post!

He's got 3 teeth.  Two on the bottom and one on top.  That second one on top just doesn't want to break through!

That monkey is getting WAY too small!

Carmine is 8 Months Old!!

This last month has flown by with being back to work, and Carmine has changed so much.  He is now rolling over on his own much more frequently, sitting up like a champ, and pushing to his hands while on his tummy.  He is also saying "da-da-da-da" a lot and doing lots of wet raspberries.  He has tried puffs and doesn't know quite what to make of them.  Banana's just slightly mushed get the same reaction.

I wasn't sure about the pilot hat, but the pictures turned out super cute!

This one was fun!  He enjoyed being surrounded by blocks.  He picked them up, tried chewing on a few of them, and had a blast being photographed!

Looking so grown up!!

Finally, all about the LOVE!

Carmine's 7 Month Photo Shoot

We've made it past the half year mark, and Carmine is getting more and more fun!  He is sitting up much better, eating like a champ, and is laughing and smiling more than he is crying!!  He's been reaching for objects and knocking down blocks.
He has just started to sit somewhat on his own!  We put a boppy around him in this picture to ensure that if he did fall, that it would be a soft landing.  We were lucky to get this shot because he kept pushing the 7 off the top!!
 And...a few seconds later...

 Happy with mommy!!

Just don't pay attention to my hand or arm in these sitting shots :-)

 My two teeth!!!

Carmine's 6 Month Photo Shoot

I can't believe it has been 6 months already. That is half a year!! Carmine has grown soo much, and he is actually getting his first tooth!!!! All the drool and fussiness and we finally have something to show for it!! You can't see it in these pictures, but next month I think it will be out completely and not just one sharp ridge of white sticking out from his gum!

We are working hard on rolling from back to belly and sitting up. Still won't do either without support, but he's trying!! Physical therapy is really going to help him, I think. Once we get his neck all straightened out there will be no stopping this kid!

New favorite activity of holding his feet!!
My happy boy!
Those eyes will get you every time!
Say cheese!!!! I LOVE this picture!!
